Twilight 04 - E&B

Blind item from Ask-Ausiello

This was posted Wednesday night:

Question: My guess for the blind item about the hit show getting the ax is The Unit, Close to Home or Jericho.— T.K.

Ausiello: I can confirm that it is indeed one of those three shows. I can also confirm that I'll be narrowing that list down even further (a lot further — hint, hint) in the first episode of my vodcast, debuting tomorrow on a video player near you. Sorry, but a guy's gotta cross-promote where he can.

It was in reference to this post last week in the same column:
OK, everybody, close your eyes and read on, 'cause it's blind-item time again! Today's guessing game involves a drama that is often called a hit even though it, in fact, misses that mark by a mile. You see, while this show draws a sizable audience, it attracts fewer viewers in the hot 18- to 49-year-old demographic than the network would get by running Matlock in its place. As a result, there's almost no way it's coming back for another season. Its only (slim) chance? The fact that, as craptacular as the program is doing, it at least is performing better in its time slot than pretty much everything else the network has tried there. So... what do you think? Send me your guesses!

Considering I only watch Jericho out of those three shows, I'm hoping it's one of the other shows listed. I don't watch a lot of shows on CBS (Survivor, The Amazing Race and Jericho are it) so I'm not sure about the whole deal with the time slot and ratings. I'll have to tune into the vodcast.
