Guinea Pigs: Me and Bozzie

Wow!

From someone on Jnet2.com:

Just called at 12:00 pm est and spoke to Charles. He said he had been there for about 30 minutes and he is getting about 1 call every minute. He said there were hundreds yesterday and hundreds the day before. We are in the thousands for a total and the day is still young in California. I asked him if we were making a difference and he said they are logging every call and the number of calls will definitely be factored in on the decision. I asked him if they were shopping Jericho to other companies and he said that as of right now anything is a possibility.

I would like to say keep up the good work everyone and keep calling the number. I think we can make a difference and we are definitely being heard by the powers that be.

Another Method: Buy Stock

Another methodology occurred to me:

Buy CBS stock. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=CBS&t=5y It's near it's lowest point in years (about $22 currently), and seems to be a halfway decent investment (a decent dividend/yield with a number of properties and divisions.)

You can buy as little as one share, and then can contact the company through the investors relation line (or other methods) speaking "as a shareholder" who is dismayed that they don't maximize their value to shareholders by either 1) continuing such a popular/quality series or 2) selling/licensing the series to another company. With online brokerage fees maybe you can get a share for $30.. not much to try to get more episodes produced.

[disclaimer: I am _not_ personally currently a shareholder of CBS stock. Although I did look at it recently and decide that it might be a good investment. I _am_ a fan of Jericho, and got my mom into it too. :) ]

NOTE: I am not a member of/don't participate in Jericho communities outside of livejournal, so feel free to bring this idea to the other communities discussing Jericho and 'save jericho' campaigns.
